Chris, Heather and our "Little Fishie"

Delainey came to stay with us over the holidays. She is getting so big and she is such a smart little girl. We had a lot of family parites to go to and she was really shy but she did well to open up and try to get past it. I think her favorite thing to do was play in the bath (she was in there for two hours one night) and to play playdough with Chris. When we got home from our New Year's Eve party, Chris and I opened the car doors to get Delainey and Ki out of the car and they had fallen asleep holding hands. It was one of the cutest things I have ever seen.

Christmas was good. Ki loved opening his presents. He got sooooo spoiled.

Chris, Rian, big Brady and Mike all decided to grow moustaches to wear on Christmas Eve and Christmas Day. Here's Chris's. My sister Nicole calls it a "molestache". EWWWW!!!!

I took pictures of Ki in his reindeer antlers for our Christmas cards. He held still for about 10 seconds and then he was done and started destroying everything. It sure was cute.

We took Ki to go see Santa. It was such a pain. When we first got there, Santa was just getting ready for his break, so we had to wait for an hour and fifteen minutes for him to come back. Then we had to wait in line for another half-hour to see Santa and Ki pooped his diaper and smelled and we didn't want to leave after waiting for so long. When we got to the front of the line I told the photographer that if Ki pulls Santa's beard to take a picture. Ki pulled Santa's hat AND beard-oh it was so funny!!! Then he bounced as hard as he could on Santa's lap. It made the whole wait and the messy diaper all worth it.

Chris and I have been spending the winter working out with our trainer, Surba. We take Ki with us most of the time and he actually does some working out too. He has done his first crawling there as well as his first walking in his walker. Surba took some pictures of Ki for us one day. Ki should be the poster baby for child fitness.

Thanksgiving was a lot of fun. We went to Mesquite so Chris could do his baseball camp and also to spend Thanksgiving with Grandma. The food was amazing!!!! Thanks Grandma!!! On the way home Ki and I stopped at In-n-Out so Ki could have his first In-n-Out burger. Ki made some friends.

Chris, Ki and I were sealed today in the Salt Lake Temple. It was an absolutely amazing day and we are so happy. Ki looked so studly in his suit.

Happy Halloween!! Ki loves trick-or-treating!!! He was a pro at it too. When people held their treat basket out, he reached in and grabbed a handful. The best part was when we got home and let him go to town on his candy. His little grunts and squeals of delight were hilarious. He mostly wanted to suck on the wrapper, but he had so much fun that he cried when we finally took his candy away.

Mealtime for Ki is becoming more and more interesting. He is getting to be a pretty picky eater and if he doesn't want to eat something, he will close his lips as tight as he can and there is nothing we can do to make him eat it. The way he knows if he likes it or not is because he smells it first- (smart little stinker). His favorite foods are squash and greenbeans and saltine crackers. He doesn't like drinking out of a sippy cup, he likes to drink out of a real cup because he sees us do it. Ki loves it when we let him feed himself. He smears the food all over the tray and squishes it in his fingers. Chris and I love to watch, we laugh so hard at how cute he is and at how much fun he is having.

Our Little Fishie is getting so big!!! I love having Chris home with me so we can just spend time with Ki and not have to do much of anything else. Ki is such a happy boy and seeing his smile is the best thing in the world. His favorite show is Higglytown Heroes and he watches it every morning. As soon as it comes on he starts bouncing in his bouncer as hard as he can, and it is so funny because sometimes he'll actually catch air and you can see his little bum flying out of the seat. He makes our world go around.

Delainey came to stay with us the 16- 21. It was so fun to have her here and she got to see Ki for the first time. She always wanted to feed him his bottle. Delainey loves Hannah Montana and the little Mermaid so I let her sleep on my Ariel pillowcase and we bought her a Hannah Montana blanket. She is very shy at first so it took a while for her to warm up to everyone but I think she had a good time. Chris and I got a good little taste of the terrible twos, but all in all it was a lot of fun.

Well, we're finally getting settled in for the winter. I love being home in my own house, sleeping in my own bed. When baseball season starts I am very excited to go, and when it's over, I am just as excited to come home. We all miss being away from the family and it can get lonely sometimes so we really love spending time with everyone during the winter.

Now that we finally have a home computer I thought it would be cool to put up a blog so that next summer everyone can see what we're up to wherever we may be.
